Educational Qualification
- Passed Matriculation (10th) or equivalent
- From a board recognized by Central / State / UT Government
- Original marksheet or certificate is mandatory
Physical Standards
- Minimum Height: 152 CM
- Chest Expansion: Minimum 5 CM
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age
Medical Standards
- Vision: 6/36 each eye, correctable to 6/9
- Refractive Error: ±3.5 D
- Color Vision: CP-III
- LASIK / PRK Surgery: Not Allowed
- Normal hearing & minimum 14 dental points required
Marriage Rules (Very Important)
- Candidate must remain unmarried during 4-year service
- Marriage during service will lead to immediate discharge
- Only unmarried candidates eligible for regular cadre after 4 years
