The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official notification for JEE Main 2026. The registration process for Session 1 (January 2026) has started from 31 October 2025 and will continue till 27 November 2025. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

- Start Date to Apply Online: 31 October 2025
- Last Date to Apply Online: 27 November 2025 (Up to 09:00 PM)
- Last Date for Fee Payment: 27 November 2025 (Up to 11:50 PM)
- Correction Window: Will be displayed on NTA website
- City Intimation Slip: First Week of January 2026
- Admit Card Release: 03-04 days before the exam
- Exam Dates (Session 1): 21 January 2026 to 30 January 2026
- Exam Dates (Session 2): 02 April 2026 to 09 April 2026
- Result Declaration: By 12 February 2026 (Session 1) | By 20 April 2026 (Session 2)

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) in 2024, 2025, or appearing in 2026 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Minimum Marks: 75% (65% for SC/ST) for admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
- Age Limit: No age limit.
- Attempts: Six attempts allowed over three consecutive years (January and April sessions each year).

- Type of Questions: Objective Type (MCQs and Numerical)
- Marking Scheme: +4 for correct answer, -1 for wrong answer
