The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Principal, Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Primary Teacher (PRT) posts. Application Fee
- Group A (Principal): Rs. 1000/- (UR / EWS / OBC)
- Group B (PGT / TGT / PRT): Rs. 500/- (UR / EWS / OBC)
- SC / ST / PwBD / Women: No Fee
Age Limit (as on 05-01-2026)
- Principal: 35 – 55 Years
- PGT: Maximum 40 Years
- TGT: Maximum 35 Years
- PRT: Maximum 30 Years
- Age Relaxation: As per Government of India rules
Eligibility
- Principal: Master’s Degree (50%+) + B.Ed + Relevant Experience
- PGT: Master’s Degree (50%+) in subject + B.Ed + Hindi & English proficiency
- TGT: Bachelor’s Degree (50%+) + B.Ed + CTET + Hindi & English proficiency
- PRT: Senior Secondary (50%+) + D.El.Ed/B.El.Ed + CTET + Hindi & English proficiency
- Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications
